BLOOMING GROVE TOWNSHIP — PennDOT plans to close a bridge just off Interstate 84 in Pike County for the next few months. The bridge on Route 739 over Shohola Creek in Blooming Grove Township is scheduled to close starting Tuesday and remain closed through December. PennDOT originally planned to leave one lane of travel open, but the bridge deteriorated too much. The detour is 10 miles long.
